지난 11월 22일, 서울 그랜드 인터컨티넨탈 서울 파르나스 호텔에서 열린
‘RxSight LAL 유저 심포지엄’에 퍼스트삼성안과 나성진 대표원장은 초청 연자로 참석해
LAL(Light Adjustable Lens) 렌즈의 실제 적용 및 임상 경험을 공유했습니다.
국내에서 가장 많은 LAL 수술을 집도한 나성진 대표원장은 
‘Real-World Experience with LAL: From Cataract to IOL Exchange’를 주제로 발표를 진행했습니다.
발표에서 나성진 대표원장은 백내장 수술 및 인공수정체 교체술(IOL Exchange)에서 LAL 적용 경험과 실제 사례를 통해,
수술 후 빛을 이용한 굴절력 조정으로 시력 정확도를 크게 개선할 수 있는 가능성을 강조했습니다.
이번 심포지엄에 초청된 나성진 대표원장은 LAL이 환자의 실제 시력 상태와 생활 패턴을 반영해 맞춤 시력을 구현할 수 있는 기술임을 소개하며,
국내외 의료진들 앞에서 정밀 시력 보정 및 재수술 위험 최소화 측면에서의 유용성을 설명하여 큰 관심을 받았습니다.
이번 심포지엄은 국내외 의료진 간의 실제 임상 데이터를 공유하며,
LAL이 백내장 수술의 정확도 향상과 환자 맞춤형 시력 보정의 새로운 표준으로 확산될 가능성을 확인하는 뜻 깊은 자리를 가졌습니다.
