| How long should I stop wearing contact lenses before my preoperative examination? |
|---|
|
For accurate measurements, we generally recommend stopping contact lens wear for at least one week before the examination. Contact lenses can temporarily alter corneal shape and tear-film quality, affecting the results. Rigid gas-permeable lenses and orthokeratology (Ortho-K) lenses may require a longer break. Please tell us which lenses you wear and how long you have used them so we can advise you on the appropriate interval. |
