I have severe halos after receiving a multifocal IOL. Can the lens be replaced?
An IOL exchange may be an option, but first we check for other causes of glare or halos, such as residual astigmatism, dry eye, posterior capsule opacification, or lens decentration. Lens exchange does not guarantee that the symptoms will disappear completely, so a thorough evaluation and discussion of expectations are important.
