Invited Lecture by Dr. Sung-Jin Na at the 2025 LAL Lens User Symposium

On November 22, at the RxSight LAL User Symposium held at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas Hotel,
Dr. Sung-Jin Na, CEO of First Samsung Eye Clinic, participated as an invited speaker and shared his real-world experience and clinical application of the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL).

As the surgeon with the largest number of LAL procedures performed in Korea, Dr. Na delivered a presentation titled
“Real-World Experience with LAL: From Cataract to IOL Exchange.”

In his lecture, Dr. Na presented his clinical experience with LAL in both cataract surgery and intraocular lens (IOL) exchange, highlighting—through real cases—the potential of postoperative light-based refractive adjustment to significantly improve visual accuracy.

During the symposium, Dr. Na emphasized that LAL is a technology capable of delivering truly personalized vision, reflecting patients’ real visual needs and daily lifestyles.
He explained its clinical value in achieving precise refractive correction while minimizing the risk of reoperation, drawing considerable attention from both domestic and international ophthalmologists.

This symposium served as a meaningful platform for sharing real-world clinical data among ophthalmic specialists from Korea and abroad, reaffirming the potential of LAL to emerge as a new standard for precision and personalized vision correction in cataract surgery.
