Dr. Sungjin Na Presents at the 25th Regular Academic Conference of the Korean Ophthalmologists Association

On February 8, 2026, at the 25th Regular Academic Conference of the Korean Ophthalmologists Association held at the Swiss Grand Hotel, Dr. Sungjin Na of First Samsung Eye Center presented his clinical experience with LAL-based intraocular lens (IOL) exchange under the title, "Real-world Experience with the Light Adjustable Lens: From Cataract to IOL Exchange."

Dr. Na, who holds the most extensive experience with LAL surgeries in South Korea, shared the treatment outcomes of highly challenging cases. These included irregular astigmatism, ineligibility for multifocal lenses, lens dislocation, and results utilizing the Yamane technique, drawing significant interest and positive evaluations from the medical specialists in attendance.
