Hello, this is First Samsung Eye Clinic.

We are pleased to announce that the research paper titled

'CLEAR Lenticule Extraction for Enhancement After Primary Lenticule Extraction Surgery' by Dr. Sungho Choi,

renowned as a leading expert in vision correction retreatment,

has been officially published in

‘JCM (Journal of Clinical Medicine),’

a world-class SCI-indexed international journal.

Through this study, the remarkable outcomes of improving visual quality using

the 'CLEAR (CLEAR SMILE) retreatment' have been internationally recognized.

Most notably, all patients who underwent this retreatment regained clear,

crisp vision of 1.0 (20/20) or better without glasses, and the fast,

safe recovery process was objectively verified.

This achievement completely overcomes the limitations of conventional retreatment methods—such as LASEK (PRK),

which required patients to endure days of pain, or LASIK, which involved creating a new corneal flap at the risk of nerve damage.

For patients struggling with vision regression after previous vision correction surgeries,

this is a highly meaningful milestone that establishes

a new standard of treatment, offering a 'fast and painless recovery'.

Dr. Sungho Choi focuses on the true 'quality of vision' that determines a patient's lifelong eyesight,

going far beyond merely matching numbers on a vision chart.

First Samsung Eye Clinic will continue to do

our absolute best through relentless research and

customized patient care to help you find the clearest and most comfortable vision.

Thank you.
